I will simply say The Wire DVD is the best show ever on TV. I have watched all the HBO shows for at least one season and they all pale in compairison. From the 1st to last episode The Wire DVD delivers. This is not simply a cop show. It is a show about an American city. This show IS Baltimore. It dives into topics such as homelessness, politics, intercity schools, family values, broken familys, drug abuse, drug recovery, police investigations, police curruption, and many more topics.The Wire DVD is simply a MUST-SEE show. It is not for everyone as The Wire DVD is extremly real and indepth. If you want a easy watching, simple minded show this is not for you. The writing on The Wire DVD is brilliant, the acting is inspired and the direction is impeccable. A quick search on the web reveals the passion that most reviewers have for this celebrated project. Add another vote here for greatest television drama yet created.
Weeds DVD Boxset has a wonderful cast, and the program is truly addicting. I could have watched all Weeds Seasons 1-5 in one sitting, if I had that kind of time available. Absolutely amazing show! What a great, well written, and well acted tv show.Weeds Series 1-5 not like any other show out there with the subject matter and humour. Its laugh out loud funny! and kevin nealon is absolutely halarious!! Weeds DVD boxset arrived earlier than expected (on a friday), and i watched all five seasons during the course of the weekend. My only disapointment is i didnt realize there were only 4 seasons thus far, and since i dont currently get Showtime, im going to have to wait for the realese of the next dvd until i can continue the story…. In the interest of honesty, I must confess a thing for both Elizabeth Perkins and Mary-Louise Parker. With that in mind, I think Weeds is the show that finally put Showtime on the map. It’s funny, real, controversial and fun. Each season leaves you wanting more. You don’t just watch Weeds DVD you’re invested. Bravo Showtime; you’ve done it!
I have every season of The Simple Life DVD Boxset and I have enjoyed the first seasons until season 4, when Paris and Nicole had their feud. But even though they didn’t work together the season was fine. So now that they got together again to make season 5, I thought that The Simple Life DVD Boxset was going to be really funny. But I really found The Simple Life DVD Boxset not so funny. This time they go to camp and there are not really fun scenes. I think that one of reasons can be, that they are in another stage of their lifes. I mean they are in their late 20’s so making stupid things (Let’s be honest. The Simple Life DVD Boxset was fun because they were always making stupid things. Funny but stupid) is not so funny any more. And the other I think, was that there was nothing exciting in the stories that they made for this season.
I heard that season 5 is the closing season of The Simple Life DVD Boxset . I think that it wasn’t a good idea to end The Simple Life DVD Boxset that had had success without closing it big.
